Issue with Demolding and Pressing Method in Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine
Time:Apr 30,2021
Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine The issue of demolding and pressurization methods has recently become a major concern for our customers. The choice of manufacturing collaboration principles will significantly influence the efficiency and quality of later-stage production—so today, let’s dive into this topic together.
Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine The pressurization methods are primarily divided into two types: the wedge-iron constant-pressure method and the hydraulic pressurization method. The wedge-iron method is especially suited for materials with relatively low specific gravity, such as coal powder, coke powder, and coke itself. We use a constant-pressure balling machine to produce pellets from these materials, making it our optimal choice—both in terms of performance and cost-effectiveness. Not only does this approach fully meet customer requirements, but it also helps us achieve significant financial savings.
Hydraulic pressurization is an automatic pressure-adjusting method, particularly well-suited for handling loosely packed, high-density powdered materials—such as metal ore powders like iron powder and manganese powder. This technique applies sufficient pressure to effectively compress these powders, resulting in ideal pelletizing outcomes. Among the two methods, however, inclined-iron pressing offers a longer service life compared to hydraulic pressing. Its main drawback, though, is that it lacks adjustability. Let’s now take a closer look at this approach. Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine Mold release issue
1. Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine When manufacturing grinding tools, the surface of newly made roller skins often isn't perfectly smooth during mold creation, making demolding difficult. It's recommended to immediately polish the roller skins using dry materials.
2. Some specific customer requirements result in mold balls being manufactured with either excessively deep or overly small ball pits, making it difficult to remove the molds. Therefore, customers are generally advised to consider the manufacturer’s recommendations when selecting spherical shapes.
3. Material considerations: Depending on the specific forming requirements of the material, if the material is too moist—or even slightly sticky—it can easily adhere to and wear down the molds. Therefore, when adding binders to different materials, ensure the moisture content is appropriately balanced. If the raw material is excessively wet, it’s recommended to dry it thoroughly or allow it to air-dry naturally.
4. Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine The rotational speed also matters—based on our experience, a standard briquetting machine can typically operate at 10–15 rpm, while high-pressure or heavy-duty briquetting machines are best suited to 7–10 rpm.
It seems there’s no “one-size-fits-all” approach—only the method that works best for you. That’s why, when selecting or customizing a ball press machine, you should carefully consider the characteristics of the material being processed, ensuring it aligns with your specific needs to avoid any issues down the line.
