What are the operating methods of a mineral powder balling machine?

The hydraulic protection system of the mineral powder ball press machine works by using a hydraulic pump to deliver high-pressure oil into a hydraulic cylinder, causing the piston to move axially. The front end of the piston rod rests against the bearing housing, ensuring that the machine can meet the required production pressure. When excessive material is fed between the two compression rollers or if metal objects enter the system, the piston rod in the hydraulic cylinder becomes overloaded. In response, the hydraulic pump automatically shuts down, while the accumulator absorbs and cushions the resulting pressure fluctuations. Simultaneously, the overflow valve opens to redirect the excess oil back to the reservoir, allowing the piston rod to shift and increase the gap between the rollers. This action enables hard materials to pass through safely, restoring normal system pressure and preventing damage to the rollers. Additionally, the dry powder ball press machine offers flexible operation, as the pressing force can be easily adjusted according to the desired density of the produced pellets.

  Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine The molding process requires high pressure and is equipped with a screw feeding mechanism. The main unit is powered by an electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, which transmits motion via belt pulleys and a cylindrical gear reducer, ultimately driving the drive shaft through a pin-and-tube coupling. The drive shaft and driven shaft maintain synchronized operation thanks to an open-type gear system. Additionally, a hydraulic device is installed at the rear of the driven bearing housing.

 

      Mineral Powder Ball Press Machine The spiral feeding device is driven by an electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, which transmits power via belt pulleys and a worm gear reducer to forcibly push the compressed material into the main feed inlet. Thanks to the constant-torque characteristics of the electromagnetic speed-regulating motor, when the amount of material fed by the screw feeder matches the material requirement of the main machine, a consistent feeding pressure is maintained, ensuring stable pellet quality. If the feed rate exceeds the required amount, the motor will experience electrical overload; conversely, if the feed rate is too low, pellet formation will fail altogether. Therefore, skilled operational techniques are crucial for maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of the pressing process.
