After the misalignment occurs in the mineral powder ball press machine, the finished pellets may develop burrs or end up loosely compressed. First, carefully inspect the quality of the formed pellets—sometimes minor issues arise that, if left unaddressed, can severely disrupt the production of the next batch. Here are the steps: Loosen the set screws on the secondary roll gear adjustment plate, use the adjusting screw to lift the gear away from the plate, allowing the roll to move freely. Then, rotate the gear inward by one full turn—this helps eliminate any backlash in the gear assembly—and carefully remove the adjusting screw. Next, turn the driven roll so that the ball socket aligns properly. When performing this task, be sure to pay close attention to the following:

When aligning the spherical recesses, the spherical pocket of the secondary roll is lower than that of the primary roll. 1-2 mm, then tighten the set screws on the adjustment plate by 1-2 mm. Rotate the gears in the appropriate direction and check whether the ball sockets of the two rollers on the desulfurization gypsum pelletizer are properly aligned. If alignment isn’t yet ideal, loosen the set screws again and readjust until proper alignment is achieved, after which tighten all the set screws securely.
