What factors affect the ball-forming quality of the pelletizer?
Time:Jun 15,2021
High-efficiency operation not only enables the swift completion of production tasks but also ensures product quality. This is especially true when it comes to the quality of finished balls produced by the ball press machine; therefore, any factors that could negatively impact the pressing process should be minimized or eliminated altogether.

What factors affect the quality of finished balls produced by a ball press machine?
1. The customer requested a ball socket that was too small, and the material feed rate was set too high. As a result, the production speed ended up slower than the feeding rate, which easily led to clogging.
2. The material has too high a moisture content; once the humidity is elevated, it inevitably becomes more sticky, which easily leads to blockages in the ball press machine.
3. If the raw material contains relatively large particles that can't pass through the rod, it will lead to material blockage.
4. If the press machine's speed is too low, the material naturally won’t release easily from the mold. Typically, the press machine should maintain a speed between 10 and 20 RPM.
5. Special shapes, such as squares and diamonds, also pose challenges during demolding. Typically, we prefer more common shapes like ovals or circles, as these are easier to release from the mold.
6. The supply of materials was not handled effectively, primarily due to inadequate coordination and communication among staff, as well as uneven distribution of materials.
